Abstract:

The article presents an analysis of the reasons for the disappearance of the national holiday "Ivan Kupala" in the system of Russian festive culture. Within the framework of this issue, a socio-cultural project "The Feast of Ivan Kupala through the centuries" was developed, which is aimed at reviving the traditional ritual complex of the holiday "Ivan Kupala" in all regions of Russia.
