Abstract:

The article examines the relationship between physical culture and sports in the school environment and social and cultural recreation. The significance and features of the latter for children and adolescents at the present time, as well as elements of socio-cultural activity in physical culture are highlighted. The functions of recreation and the possibilities of its implementation through socio-cultural activities through a complex of various modern technologies are given.
