Abstract:

The article examines the history of the village Kanevskaya of the Kanevskoy district of the Krasnodar region, its foundation and development, the history of the appearance of the Cossacks – its original inhabitants – and the formation of their communities. The main sights and the state of the village at the present stage are shown.
