Abstract:

In 2020 all of humanity is living in the period of a coronavirus pandemic, but this is far from the worst epidemic that has ever engulfed our planet. In the XIV century, the plague invaded the city, which was much more terrible. This article discusses the social and economic, political, and environmental causes of the spread of the plague, as well as medieval ways to combat it.
