Abstract:

The article discusses the possibility of applying the main theses of N. Machiavelli study and theories of the elites of the early XX century in modern political science and practice. The author comes to the conclusion that many elitism supporters ideas are consistent with the democratic culture principles and meet the needs of the development of relevant political teachings.
