Abstract:

The article discusses the specifics of the development of the agricultural sector of the economy of the Russian Empire in 1913. Based on statistical data and print media of the Ministry of Finance for 1913, it is shown that market relations are formed in the framework of the traditional model of agriculture with its remnants of landowner tenure. This dynamic was the result of the development of scientific thought and state reform activities of the early XX century.
